Some of the dogs we have Rescued
As loving pet owners ourselves, we take in Rescues, usually big dogs. We are genuinely saddened when we see beautiful dogs in rescue for no good reason. More often than not, it is bad owners rather than bad dogs. Dogs need to be trained. They don’t know how to do it themselves, and they look to us to show them what is correct behaviour and what is not!
A well-settled, well-trained dog is an absolute delight. A dog that knows its place in the family is a wonderful addition, bringing so much love and joy.
If you don’t have time to train and work with a dog, don’t get one! Many families choose the wrong type of dog breed for their family, for example, a Border Collie (working dog) in a small backyard with the family at work. An absolute disaster in the making for both the dog and family. Please do your research before committing to a dog.
Our policy is that we will take any of our dogs back, no questions asked, at any time, for any reason. This happened once when a family needed to relocate to Japan. I think that’s actually the only one!
Not many breeders will put this in writing. Not only do we put it in writing, but we also have you sign and agree that you will bring the dog back to us for rehoming if the need ever arises.
Here are some of our Rescues from over the years. We have rescued or rehomed a LOT of dogs. These are just a few from our list:-
Asha, Jingle, Jess, Basic, Bonnie Scotch and Noddy, and a few extras not mentioned here. Some from the pound, or given to us as they were picked up from the streets.
